OT: Some Twins Talk
#1
http://twinsdaily.com/articles.html/_/minnesota-twins-news/minnesota-twins-minor-leagues/twins-prospect-pulse-monitoring-the-minors-r6888

So im posting some prospect stuff cause the big club has certainly been dissapointing.   Not out of it but not looking promising.  OTOH, Kiriloff and Lewis offer some hope, even if several years out.

yeah... well we just sent our HR derby all star from last year down to the minors,  and our former batting champion, future HOF (debatable) first baseman is coming back from a rehab stint in AAA ball where he went 0-10 batting,   so what do you think about that?

oh and Thielen and Diggs likely had more dingers in BP last week than our free agent power hitter has all season... so there.

I had Sano on my FBL team...very sad I had to cut his butt today.  I watched MLB discuss his "situation" this AM and they focused on him "refreshing the fundamentals" but the training facility in Ft. Meyer's also having better, healthier food options.  Was that a veiled slam at Sano being a fat***??? Wink

Every time I start to get down on them they pull me back in.  This team has a core that could be very very good....just a piece or two holding them back.

I have to admit I couldn't decide right off whether to like this or funny this. I went with like. I always get sucked in as well. That's the sad funny part. "Just a piece or two holding them back"...deja vu?

I cant decide if the Twins are playing great or the Sox are slumping....  I am a Lifetime Sox fan and so far this season their offense hasnt looked this bad this year.  We are on the last leg of our longest road trip of the season too, so that isnt helping. But good luck to the Twins the rest of the season!

I think I am going to go with the Sox were slumping.

I wish Moli would have a better sense of when a pitcher doesn't have his stuff.  Odorizzi was lucky in the first that the Rangers helped him out,  but it was evident that he didn't have control early on.

This team is hard to figure out...  Take 2 out of 3 from Cleveland, then lose 2 out of 3 to the freaking Tigers...  Then take 2 out of 3 from the Red Sox and lose the first 2 against the shitty Rangers...
