I ran into Blair Walsh today
#1
i was going into a gas station in Laguna Ca. at the same time as BW.
I thought he looked familar and ask if he was Blair.
We chatted about kickers getting released and told him I’m the My ESP’’s guy.

Just thought you might want to know

Yeah, Blair lives out in California. I haven't seen his Dad for a teeth cleaning recently, but when I do I'll get the latest update on him.

My kid has taken kicking lessons, and I gotta tell you...that shit is tough.

youre starting your motion at an object that isn't there yet.
Everything has to happen perfectly in 2.5 seconds
jab, step, plant, kick.....a lot can go wrong.
depending on how far away you are or which hash, the field actually "angles" itself.

and the balance of the game hinges on your shoulders...

no thanks

And you have to have a very short memory.  That is where Walsh failed.

ive said everytime people get after the kicker that its likely the hardest position in the game and the least appreciated.  tons of stress,  low pay, and so damn many variables to account for.  good luck to your son,   I got fair at it,  but it took a lot of practice and I really enjoyed doing it.
