BRob being classy
#11
The irony of all this,  he is taking a massive paycut so that the team can afford to up their end on a new contract for a player whose motivating factor to be here is primarily money.   Maybe barr Waynes and Diggs extend a hometown discount,  but I'm not holding my breath.

When I was railing for the team to do right by BROB I had some talk about all the money he had already made...after this year Barr will be over 25 million, and if/when he signs his extension he will likely surpass Brian's career money....Brian's here,  Barr isn't even though he is scheduled to make over 12 million this year.  I hope people understand my ire in this situation and absolutely yes...Brian is definitely the poster child for class in the way he is handling this.  Thanks for 1 more year Brian.

I hold out a TON of hope that BRob has more years in purple, as a coach, after he's done on the field.  He's already a known leader, smart and personable, and tough as nails.

That sounds like a guy you want on your sideline if you don't have him on your roster.

I dont see a TX boy that has made a good amount of bank for himself returning as a coach.... he would likely be great at it with his intensity,  his knowledge of the game,  as well as his known willingness to help the players around him get better even if it means losing his snaps.  No, I think Brians made it pretty clear he wants to go try professional bass fishing.

BRob is the definition of CLASS! I hate that he had to take a pay cut, but I'm happy that he's here. Couldn't ask for a better role model for all the players, from rookies to vets.  A great team player & teacher/coach. Nothing but praise for him as far as I am concerned.
