I am not a crook.
We did not, I repeat, did not trade weapons or anything else [to Iran] for hostages, nor will we.
Read my lips, no new taxes.
I did not have sex with that woman.
I never received nor sent any material that was marked classified.
If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.
and you wonder why people don't trust the government.  Only problem is that is always the other side that lies (supposedly).
Every administration is going to tell lies at some point. What is alarming here is the quantity and propensity to lie about any and everything from this administration and Trump in particular
how do you know that theyre telling them at a higher rate then any previous administration? because the “news” says so?

i dont care for the umpa loompa in chief but its dishonest to think hes being treated fairly in the media.
Do you fallow his Twitter account?
I'm also no fan of his, but even today...much of the news said that he called immigrants "animals", yet hearing the whole recording/context, he was talking about MS-13.  I can tell you that from my years in New Mexico, "animals" doesn't begin to cover it.

He's a blabbering asshat, always has been...but the news has brutally cherry-picked and removed context from his statements much of the last few years.  If they can't be accurate, they shouldn't claim to be "news"...period.

Our mainstream news sources have turned into tabloids.  Instead of Twisting facts to sell a grocery checkout aisle rag,  the main stream media are tOrting facts to play on the laziness of the American public to try and affect the outcome of future elections to push a political agenda.  They muddy or ignore that which doesn't fit their purpose and sensationalize that which does.

Honestly,  our own media fucking with the facts is scarier than anything Russia has been accused of.  Russia played with sources that shouldn't be trusted,  but we should be able to trust some form of media to not have a political agenda and just report the facts, all the facts, of a story  as they happen without a twisted headline and lead paragraph  ( since that's all that a majority of the public seem to read to form their opinions)

They managed to claim that the shooter in Santa Fe, Texas, used an AR-15 today...which was utterly inaccurate.  Any firearm longer than a foot is automatically an "AR-15", which has been a shameless kind of mind control since Sandy Hook.

So that's the one issue you are gonna focus on, how about the point that they were legally owned weapons, made available a parent.  No issues with that, no responsibility, just part of every day living here.

what is he supposed to say?  yes somebody should be held accountable,  but once again,  do you punish the weapon or the criminal?

I think his point was simply once again the media is making bull shit allegations in order to further a political agenda and will let nothing,  even the truth,  stand in their way.  ( I believe law enforcement said it was a shotgun that the kid had used last I read... has this changed?)

and maybe instead of focusing on the the end game,  we should focus on what drives somebody to do these acts?  honestly taking away guns will not stop mentally/emotionally impaired people from lashing out in destructive ways.  terrorists have managed to kill plenty of people without firearms.  lets help the kids by focusing on what fuels these desires instead of trying to eliminate every possible way they could act on them.

I just get tired of this, everytime this happens,  the "victim class" find some way to position themselves.  The story is another sob killed a bunch of kids and by using the easiest means.  How did Adam Lanza or Nickolas Cruz get their tools of mass slaughter, who's being held accountable?  Just get angry when these kids heartbeats are stopped and we put our flags at half staff, say our prayers and wait for it to happen again.

Hi, try not to be a lying, spineless, sack of shit.

That's one point I mentioned, in a thread about Trump and a pornstar...NOT an in-depth thread about that or other school shootings.  The media was the running sub-topic, and that was relevant.

Quick, make posts to look terribly concerned!  It's important to push those perceptions!

I'm going to start an actual thread on the subject, try and no speak for others on it...if you can.  That kind of knee-jerk cowardice is always a waste of time and bandwidth.

Zanary,

back it down,  name calling does nothing but create more issues in these threads.  in lieu of taking action I would ask that you just apologize and we can move on if thats ok with those involved/affected?

I'll swap apologies: I'll apologize for being over-the-top in my response if he apologizes for assigning a false position to me.
