I am not so keen on this. There is value in going against a different team in Training Camp, especially a good one like the Jags.
Also risks, like higher for potential for injuries, cheap shots from the other team, fights, plus they could get a more close up look at some of our young guys who we may try to sneak through waivers. With 4 preseason games, and starters playing a limited number of snaps except in game 3, I think that is enough time to get tape and evaluate our guys.

I'll bet the players love a change of pace and opportunity to measure-up against competition....Was it the Bengals corners a few years back who were saying the vikings WR's had no dog in em? Starters wouldn't line-up against Thielen?
