I think it looked like a "cut out your bulls**t" warning, because while the horrid woman in question may have tenure and a certain amount of armor in being minority/female/visible...the negative responses have been MASSIVE, and I imagine the school's phone and website/email are being showered with unhappy responses.

Sorta...but some professors actually get disciplined, some get shamed into resigning (always complaining about the hatred of others, natch), and most tend to quiet down after drawing too much ire toward their learning institution.
