Raiders' release of punter Marquette King a perplexing move

Another thread title indicates that the Raiders cutting King was for salary cap reasons yet the Raiders are 8th with over 21 million in space for this year and over 70 million projected for next year.

So it was not for salary cap reasons.

Here is an article that pretty much indicates that Gruden doesn't like his antics.

Sometimes things happen (i.e. Jarius Wright being in the doghouse) that are perplexing to us on the outside..Not far-fetched for me to see this move as simply the result of player not a fit with Chuckie.

It might be the back to back games that he drew 15 yard penalties, that’s right the punter! Don’t care for his antics, & doesn’t seem like a fit in our lockerroom to me...
