Man, sounds like all the rumors were true. Cousins to Vikes, Teddy and McCown to Jets, Keenum to Denver, Bradford to Arizona...

Word in Denver is the Broncos will also draft a QB high in the draft. Curious if the Jets will. Interesting that they have back to back picks at 5 and 6 in the draft.

The Jets just signed Josh McNown as the starter. I think TB is going to have to fight his way back to being a starter, nothing will be handed to him.

Newsday reports recently re-signed Jets QB Josh McCown has been informed he will be the team's 2018 starter.
The Jets reportedly remain interested in free agent Teddy Bridgewater, however. They also remain candidates to select a quarterback on Day 1. Going on 39, McCown has never started more than 13 games in his career. He hit that number in 2017 but is a long shot to do it in back-to-back seasons. Despite McCown's $10 million contract, the Jets shouldn't be close to done at quarterback.

Teddy's career is a big question mark now. I don't think some Viking's fans understand that. Minnesota had a LONG time to look him over and check him out and they've moved on. Its telling.....and sad.

It is telling, but IMO it was that he still isn't back all the way.  And we need a QB now, not a possible future guy.

I would love him back as our backup.

I remember Geoff did say a week or so back that the Vikings had told Teddy they'd like him back but not as starter. If Teddy isn't too mad about everything maybe he'd come back. As much as he'd probably be in a real competition in camp with McCown, I wonder if he'd consider coming back to his familiar place at least 1 more year, on the outside chance that with more time to heal he'd be in a better place health-wise to compete for a starting job next year.

I agree with you I think Teddy rushed back to soon. Them injuries take 24 months for recovery and Teddy was back in 16 months.
Hope his knee fully heals and Teddy gets lots of playing time with the Jets.
