I have a hard time believing any of this is more than just a blatant attempt at pushing the market price.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

I really don't see the Vikings going outside the organization for an offensive leader after a 13-3 season.
Really?  I suppose they can bring back one of the current 3 QBs but if they were going to do that why risk losing them by letting them talk to teams later today?

I do not see the logic in this plan.

If they really truly liked one of the current 3 and wanted them to be the starter next year, wouldn't they have already gotten them signed to an extension?
There is logic to what you are saying, but I think the fact that there wasn't a clear winner at the end of the season throws a monkey wrench into it.

At that point, dollars become a question, and you don't get clarity on that until this week.

I could be wrong, but I haven't heard anything so far but talk about Cousins shopping his price around today, so if I'm wrong about the Vikings going outside the org, I think I was at least right about the news being an attempt to push Cousins' price up.

caplan... can you claify this?? i just want a straight YES or NO. Really getting sick of waiting.

I’m 99% sure... but there is always that last chance thing that can happen. i want a QB, that will lead us for the next 7 years. that I know what I’m getting. that we can build around. now granted, looking back Case played damn fine football, but can he maintain it? Cousins is a top teir QB still going up. ill take it with our D, with Zim, cook, AT & diggs. we are loaded for years to come. easy to draft to, easy to build upon... set and rick can keep us loaded.

get it announced. wheres geoff? help my stress level!!
