I really don't see the Vikings going outside the organization for an offensive leader after a 13-3 season. Really? I suppose they can bring back one of the current 3 QBs but if they were going to do that why risk losing them by letting them talk to teams later today?
I do not see the logic in this plan.
If they really truly liked one of the current 3 and wanted them to be the starter next year, wouldn't they have already gotten them signed to an extension?
At that point, dollars become a question, and you don't get clarity on that until this week.
I could be wrong, but I haven't heard anything so far but talk about Cousins shopping his price around today, so if I'm wrong about the Vikings going outside the org, I think I was at least right about the news being an attempt to push Cousins' price up.
