i love you teddy, thanks for a great ride case, too bad for the knee bradpool. but its time to start a new ride with captain kirk with the established roster. plus we will probably GET a few picks by giving up the 3. 

as geoff has said, itll be established to keep our core together, rick will have to draft well, plus we can still grab a few teir 2 guys and try hard for 3 or so years.

I would love to see Teddy stay on.  But, in addition to the possible division that might create in the locker-room, I don't think he's ready to become a FT back-up yet.

The thing is, Teddy is going to have to face the fact that nobody is going to hand him the keys to the car this year. The only way he steps back into a starting role is via the back door, meaning someone gets hurt and he shows he's healed and is better than ever. Much like what Case did this past year, he's got to overcome some major questions and build on what he did 2 years ago. It's a crappy situation for a young guy, but it is the situation. 

If he wants to sign for a year it might not be a bad situation here. Same for Sam.

I don't know if it's true or not... but IF it turns out to be true (and Cousins becomes our QB)... I only have one request (in addition to winning a few Super Bowls):

Much love to Teddy, Case and Sam. If this is true, this speaks to the commitment of Kirk. Seriously he would still get paid but it doesn't handicap the team. That is the best case scenario.

If the front office is for it then I am also.  27 mill would be a good number.  I hope they are set at the position for years to come.

So many questions to be answered yet.  Who gets a starting gig and where, do the Vikes try to keep any of the 3 or draft some talent?

Sam as a backup here?  Extend his career and with the Vikings luck he is going to see the field.
