interesting.... I thought he looked like he might have regressed last year at times,  but I still think he was very valuable in terms of all the positions he was able to step into and contribute from.  I think C is the only spot we havent seen him get starts from in his time here.

except that he can also play tackle fairly well,  not a guy you want to lean on as a starter for a whole season,  but he has played ok at the OT.  I dont see Easton or Isisdora kicking outside,  and I dont know about Collins jumping inside (maybe can but havent seen it)

Doesn't mean they won't sign him, right?  just not going to lock themselves in.

does he play OT “fairly well” or “ok” because this past year he looked average at best. With Reiff, Remmers, Hill, Elf, Berger, Easton, Iso, Collins, hes our 9th best OL. They can upgrade with a
3-5th round selection and get the same production better ceiling. Again, nice guy, wish him the best of luck

I dont remember him playing OT this year,  just the G positions.  again, not a world beater, but I liked that he could back up 4 spots on the line and do so in an effective manner.  I dont know what the tender would have required him to be paid, but in the absence of other options i wouldnt mind seeing him stick.

No reason to tender him for a hair under $2M, he won't find that on the open market. Unless he gets blown away with another opportunity I would expect him to be back around the $1-1.25M/yr price point.

I expect a rookie to take his spot on the roster.
