Its interesting....I've seen WR Hamilton seen as a possible 6-7 round pick and very limited upside to O'Neill with a shaky Senior Bowl.

That's the Draft in a nutshell, however. Inexact.

Agreed. I would move up a few spots in the Third and go after Rasheem Green DE USC. I like his size and versatility. USC would move him to the inside on certain sub packages to provide pressure at the 3T position and we desperately need a solution there unless Jaleel Johnson can become the full time starter.

I hope the Vikings sign one free agent guard like Justin Pugh.  That eliminates the "need" to go after a guard in the first round.

In this mock, I cannot see passing on Arden Key as long as they are fine with his background checks.

6'6" 265.  That is great size for a defensive end.

Looking at it from a salary cap and age perspective, he could be the perfect replacement for Griffen in a couple of years.

In the second I would probably take Brian O'neil as this draft is doing.

In the third, I would take Mike Gesicki TE.  This pick is also looking at Rudolph and his contract.

A couple weeks ago there was discussion that the Vikings might be giving Philadelphia their 3rd, not their 4th, to complete the Sam Bradford trade. I probably missed the end of that, but...which is the case?

4th. The condition was for determining 3rd or 4th was established last year.

Both GBN and Roto have Josh Allen going in the top 6. Bold Prediction: Josh Allen doesn't go in the 1st round.

Thanks! My old memory told me it had to do with us reaching the NFCCG last year but was unsure.

Bolder prediction, he goes in the First but Lamar Jackson doesn't.

Probably a moot point though. I would be very surprised if Trader Rick didn't somehow end up with a 4th rounder. He loves 4th rounders. Started with two last year. He traded UP in the 2nd, traded UP in the 3rd and not only kept both 4ths, by using a low 3rd, he IMPROVED each 4th rounder, the first by 12 slots, the 2nd by 9 slots, all the while converting 8 picks into 11.

The Vikings represent 1/32 of the NFL. Of all the draft day trades made last year, Rick made 1/5 of them. He makes your head spin.
