I watched the mock draft that Bucky and Jeremiah did. Jeremiah had our pick and took Hubbard from Ohio State with both Wynn and McGlinchey still on the board. You can never have too many pass rushers and he has pass rushing skills that are definitely better than Hunter, and are on par, if not better than Griffins when he is healthy. He has the ability to make lineman miss and can play either end position. I would totally be on board with that pick if he fell to the Vikings and I would love to see what Zimmer could do with him. The problem would be how would you play Hunter, Griffin, and Hubbard at the same time? I thought Hunter struggled a little bit this year as the full time LDE. He went from 12.5 sacks in 2016 to 7 this past season and often seemed to disappear for stretches of games.

You can't pass on legit Day 1 Starters like Wynn and McGlinchey to take a part-time player. Makes no sense.

I don't disagree FSUVike, but we also have holes to fill on the DLine and our pass rush was a major problem at the end of the season so I think you need to look at depth at the position in the draft and what is available via free agency. DE seems to be a deeper position this year than Interior Lineman, but the Interior Lineman available as free agents is very strong. The good news is that we can try to fill the holes we need by addressing what we can in free agency and then compliment those signings in the draft. All of those picks are worthy of a first round grade so I would be happy with any of them.
