True...And while I cannot in good faith lay the root of our embarrassing demise in Philly solely at the feet of Case (cough, cough defense cough blew cough chunks)  he did have a 73 QBR when the going got tough against The Saints and Eagles.
On the flip side, he had us up by 17 in the first half against the Saints (and late into the 3rd quarter), and went toe to toe against Brees late in the game, taking back the lead twice in the final 2:20 after our defense and offensive line decided to go to complete shit.

Unfortunately the defense and offensive line continued their abysmal play into the Eagles game and it was too much to overcome against a very good team on the road.
That Pick 6 into triple coverage was clearly on the O-Line and Defense, right?

I think you need to watch the replay again.

Yes, the interception was clearly on the offensive line as Keenum was hit as he threw the ball.  And there were TWO Eagles, one in front and one behind Thielen, but there was plenty of room to complete that throw and that is a play the Vikings had executed successfully multiple times throughout the season.

But keep pushing this triple coverage fallacy if you want.

man I wish I had access to the coaches film for stuff like this.

Come on man.  That was a terrible decision.  The decision is the key part.  If you watch the play, the RB breaks out to the left just as he is getting ready to throw.  The check down was there but he gambled and clearly did not see Robinson.  Just a bad decision.

That pick 6 happened in the first half and only tied the score at 7-7.  To be perfectly honest, a Super Bowl contender would have shook it off and found ways to win.  In this game, the Viking were not able to do that.

which straw was it that broke the camels back?

The straw that got the crowd back in the game and ignited their D.

And then the fumble as our offense was driving.

there were several things going against our team that day,  ball control is critical in all games,   but never more so than road games.  nothing gets a home crowd fired up more than a big play and there are very few bigger than a pick 6.

if the Vikings weren’t resilient enough to come back from that, they weren’t good enough.  Period.  Which we found out they weren’t.

lol.  No they weren't.  They lost to the superbowl champs, #1 seed in the NFC.

And to some, they will never be good enough.

It wasn't resilience, it was a very good team getting the momentum swung back there way, and playing at home with a good game plan.

Seems obvious what the consensus on that play was.
