That's the same mistake that the Broncos made with Simien. Now their super bowl window is closed. Although the Vikings love Sloter I would never pencil him in as a future starter until he proves something in a live game or preseason scenario. 

Or hitch yourself to a guy like Bridgewater who might never be the kind of QB a team needs. There's risk all around, whatever direction the team decides to go....that message was sent loud and clear by de-activating him for yesterday's game. Lots of questions heading into the offseason at this position.

My vikings won with our qb Case Keenum.  He has earned a contract.  I am sorry for the Teddy fans that think Teddy is more accurate (he isn't) or has a better arm (he doesn't).

webe searcjedcfor a QB for 13 years.  now we have 3.  Sam’s injury history will hurt his marketability.  I’d re-sign Case (hs young enough and the fiery leader you want).  i’d also  sign Bradford for up to $10M a yrar on a 2 year deal.  hedges the bet on Case and affordable with our cap space.  however, my guess is that all 3 QB demand to be the segacto starter.  in that case, go Case.

I am not saying anything here regarding Case/Bridgewater/Bradford. All I am saying is that you shouldn't "expect" Sloter to develop into a starting QB. So however you choose to play your cards assume they're you guy.
