You're all welcome- we won because I left the bar

Don't fret it KB.  I was on the verge of turning my TV off.  It's one of those times where slow and lazy actually paid off.

This brought me back to the Browns vs. our Vikings, 1980....hail Mary from Tommy Kramer to Ahmad Rashad...it was like this for me because right before that play my dad got up, left the room and slammed the bedroom door. I stayed put to watch the end (I don't know why). This time, same thing. Everybody left. I sat there to watch the end (I don't know why). I was slumped on the coach pouting and then it happened...and for whatever reason I ran screaming into the bathroom. I came out and did victory laps and screams around the living room, jumping up and down, and my kid says (in a very flat voice) "I'm happy too mom, but you don't have to SCREAM!!" (he has Asperger's, just as a little side note).....and for the second time in my life I was proud that I stayed with my team 'til the end Big Grin Big Grin

I don’t know. I think it was me. I am legendary bad at betting. So I bet 20 on Saints to win and sure enough a miracle happens.

You know what I didn't expect? I feel bad for my Saints friends. NOT Sean Payton. I'm glad he's unhappy. But knowing that feeling... wow, that sucks.

I won't post links because I'm lazy but if you're interested, look up the sideline view on YouTube, somebody made a clip where they laid over the Titanic theme on the final play... there's lots of good stuff to eat up today.

SKOL!!!!!
same here,   I know there are a class less fans from any team that I would never feel sorry for,   but as a fan that has had his heart ripped out so many times,  I have to have some sympathy for their decent loyal fans.  but FUCK peyton or payton or however the fuck he spells his name.

I will say that I didn't meet a single pleasant Saints fan at the bar. Nice "enough" sure, but for the most part... not my style. And then when a few friends and I yelled at the screen when Sean Peyton was on, the small group of Saints fans turned and took things personally.

That's one thing I'll give a few teams (us being the first) credit for. It's just a game. Saints fans always seem nasty. I live in CA too and Rams and Raiders fans are also garbage usually. But you'll never hear anybody complain about Vikings fans.

Rant over.

They have a trophy, undeserved but they still have one.
I have friends that like certain teams but other than the Lions fans I am not feeling bad for any of them.
