Thats going to be a mismatch most series...Wish they would have called a time-out and put a safety over there. I heard on the radio Kenricks was in tears after allowing that TD.

That was actually great coverage. Kamara has great hands and concentration for a rookie RB. Probably wasn't the best to play tight man on him inside, but no fault on EK on that TD.

EK was right there. could have timed his jump better but sometimes they make a great play. Brees threw a perfect pass

Alvin Kamara is the real deal. Ingram didn't do squat last night. Boy, I now see what all the fuss was about.
I still can only imagine what could have been had Dalvin been able to play this game. Jet and Murray have played out of their minds this season but they can't do what Dalvin does. Dalvin in there would have taken SOOO much pressure off of Case. This game would definitely have resembled the first game much more had Dalvin been in it. Can't wait for that kid to play again next season.

Exactly. It would have been hard to play him any better. Aikman was noting something to the effect that Kamara could be a WR given the routes he runs. He's not wrong. Kinda a reverse Percy Harvin. Percy was a WR that could play some RB. Kamara is a RB that could play WR.

That said, a big part of his success seems to be getting him matched up on a LB. There were some plays where they split him out wide, and EK was on him, but the DL prevented Brees from even looking in his direction.

its exactly what any team with a competent RB does, creates mismatches and then tries to exploit them. Kendricks doesnt need to hang his head, he made so many plays yesterday that I think that win was as much him as it was Keenum and Diggs.

Same with the TD on Rhodes. You can't stop that play with Brees.

Absolutely. I felt like Kendricks did an amazing job yesterday! No shame there! 10 total tackles, 7 solo tackles against a team that threw it 40 times? Not bad!

Rhodes gave him a free release off the line and they had the perfect crossing route called. Thomas was just too fast for X to stay with him. I have a lot more respect for the Saints receivers after this game and how Payton exploited our weaknesses in the secondary.
