I fixed a hole in my wall.... because of my drinking.

Not sure why I did it,  but there was so much emotion at that moment I just punched the way as I screamed I cant fucking believe it!....Probably the only Viking fan in th world celebrating by vacuuming up plaster and doing home improvements. ..I am such an idiot.

I couldn't believe what I saw. My wife and I went ape shit. So much emotion came pouring out of me. It was the most surreal of the surreal.

I was laughing hysterically and kept repeating OMFG for about a minute straight...my GF said after the Saints FG the color just drained from my face...she's a huge Eagles fan and is going to travel to Gainesville to watch the NFCCG with her son...no way we can watch together...

Not only did this game make up for 09 but it also made up for 75' in a way...

I was standing in front of my big screen TV deciding whether to turn the thing off after the Saints kicked the go-ahead field goal.  There was only 33 seconds remaining when Vikings took over at their 25 yard line followed by a 5 yard penalty.  But I just stood their and watched.  With 10 seconds left, I saw the pass play to win it for the Vikings.  I just stood their in awe and could not thing of anything, my mind was a complete blank.
I've seen the Vikings lose all four Super Bowl appearances, the losses in the NFC championship games to Dallas, Washington, Atlanta and New Orleans.  I though I'd never see something like this...absolutely amazing.
Thank the Good Lord after all those years of heart-break to win this game in that manner.

My dad I and were texting throughout the game...  when we got the ball with 25 seconds left I texted him "We're gonna do this.  We're going to win"...

I never expected a game winning TD pass...  I was hoping for us to get 2 or three quick passes to get into long FG range.  UNBELIEVABLE.

I don't even remember what I said after the play...  I remember grabbing my youngest and swinging him up in the air and kissing him and he was cheering and my oldest actually ran into the kitchen and started crying he was so happy...  Wife was hugging me...  Man, just INSANE.

Prayers DO get answered!  Un.Believe.Able

My 8 year old grandson called me right after. Said Grandpa i prayed for a TD. I told thank you very much.

my wife and one boy whispered a quick prayer to her uncle ralph who was a huge viking fan and passed away a few years back.  I didn't because I don't pray for football games, but sure appreciate any intercession we can get.

Baby was (WAS) sleeping on the couch next to my wife.  As Diggs caught that and then turned to open field I screamed so loud.  I just kept screaming in joy, screaming "suck it" at every Saint they showed and danced like a crazed man.

Felt like Clark in the Grizwalds Christmas.  Hallelujah, holy shit where is the aspirin.

I think I'll probably spend the day off apologizing to the neighbors. Warm day, windows open, me and kids screaming at top volume. I don't think we were capable of actual words. It was just AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! over and over again. Followed up by repeated blasts of the Gjallarhorn out the window.

My son was at the game, and he was texting me just before that last drive and said: "What a ride! Good things are about to happen".

I was cursing and feeling sorry for myself at this time, but texted back: "Atta way, Gabe!"

I admit, I gave up, but he didn't.  Moments later I'm jumping up and down screaming and dropping F Bombs like a hysterical mad man - what an ending!

I then texted back saying: "GABE YOU JUST SAW THE GREATEST VIKING WIN IN HISTORY!"
