Random Holiday Ramblings~
#1
Hello Incredible Peeps~

We are slowly, but surely becoming locals in the Golden Valley area.  We
spent a few hours last night at the Castle Rock Saloon, where we drank a
few brews, listened to amazing music on a juke box, ate some food and
made some friends, all whilst (yep Nibe......just for you!!) watching
the Vikings sweep the Pack.  As we entered the bar Emma popped off with a
'Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!' which endeared her to everybody.......all 7
patrons and the bartender.

Had one guy walk up to us within 5
minutes of being there and told us we had the greatest gift in the world
in a happy, loving family that had fun together.
His name was Steve and we kinda jokingly adopted him as our drunk
uncle!!!  He was not at that time, but by the end of the night the beer
kicked in and he was so impressed with our family
auras..............ended up buying us holiday Corona's.

Also
had a bit of a loudmouth cowboy kinda guy (Brian) who argued that Prince
was the greatest guitarist ever....we let him have his opinion and went
on with our night of celebration.  When we knew the game was in the bag
and credits on the juke box were all but gone, we got ready to pay our
debt to Golden Valley society.  Han (our waitress/bartender) brought
over two shots.  She said 'Fire ball from Brian.'  I looked at Don and
the girls and finally at Brian and said 'I've never had Fireball, but
here goes!!!' and did the shot.......my oh my did that ever warm the
cockles......whatever cockles are~

We laughed & enjoyed the entire night.

Tonight
we had a very quiet Christmas Eve dinner and opened our gifts.  We're
heading to Tucson in the morning to spend some time with family and
friends.......of course, after we opened our gifts and found so many new
fishing items in the packages that we're thinking maybe we should cut
the trip short so we can get back and fish!!!  OK....not really, but
definitely can't wait to get back to the river!!!

We sent a plate
of food over to Bob, the 'neighbor' who lives in a travel trailer less
than 60 yards away.  He was so appreciative and promised to watch over
our rental home with a shotgun by his side!  Definitely livin' in the
wild, wild west!

This year has been one wild ride, but we (the entire family) are more content than we have ever been before.
Football,
family spats, not finding the perfect home, gift, words, none of that
stuff matters.......what matters is having our families auras all in
tune with each other and complimenting one another. [Image: zeSxX0sMzuxKhHxBpmGC.png]

The decision to move here was the right one.  I may not be sure of much in my life right now, but that one was/is spot on!

The
Hunt Family would like to take just a moment to wish each and every one
of you a truly Merry Christmas!  Even if you don't celebrate, I hope
tomorrow is truly magical!!!

YOU mean the world to US!

God Bless~

I obviously haven't mastered the pic posting thing....sorry.....

Merry Christmas, even though you're clearly managing that already B)

I just like the idea of Prince's guitar skills being repped by a guy in a cowboy hat  Smile
