MNF Safe To Watch With The Sound On?
#1
Jon Gruden - C - Free Agent

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Jon Gruden has "reached out to possible assistants."
Gruden has been linked to the Bucs as the top candidate to replace Dirk Koetter. Unlike previous years, Gruden is serious about returning, and Tampa looks to be his preferred destination. With Gruden in the stages of putting together a staff talks could heat up over the next week. The Bucs will likely need to make Gruden one of the highest paid coaches to get him out of his ESPN deal.

This would be great news, simply the best news ever, not only in the history of broadcasting, but the entire NFL, maybe even the world, no universe...

Huh, didn't think he'd get back into coaching.  Probably would still have to keep the mute button on.  I'm sure ESPN will just find another blowhard to replace him.

I wonder what happens to MNF because McDonough is awful. It will be interesting to see if Gruden goes back to coaching.

Heard Glazer say this morning that 13-14 teams might be looking for new head coaches.  Fricken crazy.

Gruden lives in Tampa, loves Florida. It makes sense from that standpoint.

Tampa would be one place I would want to coach.  When my son graduates ... I might move down there.

Might even adopt them as my second team and go to games in the warm sunshine.
