Panthers get an early gift
#1
Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis has had his two-game suspension reduced to one game after an appeal.

Appeals officer James Thrash heard Davis' appeal.

Davis will miss Sunday's home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is eligible to return to the Panthers' active roster Dec. 26.

 • Adams must be a jerk.
The Bears put him in the hospital earlier this year with a shot to his melon. This is his 3rd concussion and now the NFL says " yeah, it's not that big a deal, 2 games is kinda
harsh..."

Well when players intentionally try to cause harm after the whistle get nothing or maybe a game how do you suspend a guy longer for a live action hit that may or may not have been an intentional effort to hurt a player.

Bennett and Gronk deserved 2 games, so inconsistent you can't even use a precedent.

when it was two, they knew an appeal would drop it back.

for a multiplr offender, the nfl should have came down on Davis. That was a blatent cheap shot that could have ended Adams career
