question for season ticket holders
#1
I've been watching for Vikings Bears tickets most of the season. Kind of picky about what I want and am willing to pay. I found some on craigslist this morning.
My question is: How can I have some kind of assurance that this guy is a legit season ticket holder?
This is his ad on craigslist:

I have 4 tickets to the remaining 2 home games listed below. Flying my family out to California for the holidays, so I will discount prices on purchases for all 4.
Section 113
Row 11
Seats 5-8

Vs Cincinatti Bengals - Sunday December 17th
$500 / Pair
$875 / For 4

Vs Chicago Bears - Sunday December 31st
$650 / Pair
$975 / For 4

Any input appreciated

seatgeek (has all the fees in the price) is showing the tickets running $450-600 per ticket in the lower deck corners. the seat sites take a 20-25% commision. so your craigslist ad is either to good to be true or a dang good deal.  Its up to you how much the risk is worth?

Don't do it.

I'm a season ticket holder and I sell my seats (when I do sell them) through the Vikings ticket app -- powered by Ticketmaster.  It's the easiest way to do it, and there is no reason to do it any other way.

Go to Ticketmaster.

I don't think there's a way to guarantee he's legit unless he's willing to share some info. For example, if someone wanted me to prove that I'm a season ticket holder and that I actually have the seats, I'd send them the screen shot below. It's under the "Tickets" header and shows that I have the tickets in my account.

You could also try NFL ticket exchange. Those are all from season ticket holders and guaranteed to be legit.

Go to Ticketmaster.

Similar priced tickets through the Viking ticket app/ticketmaster come with nearly $300 in "fees"

$300?!?!  Seriously?  I thought fees were like 10-15%

As long as you pay Goods and Services.

Don't pay Friends/Family.
