I really like Brown. I hope we dont think that we can pass on lineman now. You get Brown and play him where you can.

I never wanna feel last years pain again.

Thank God.  Most of us on the site know to ignore you.

I'm sure I'm in the minority but I don't think he fits us and our scheme at all.  I like the kid and his mindset a lot it's just his playing style I question.  If we were still the power, dent someone offense we were with AP, he'd absolutely be a great pick for RT.  But with our current offense, I don't think the BIG hulking mauler is what we'll be looking for anymore.  If you look at our line, nearly all of guys can and are asked to run and pull.  I don't see that as being Brown's thing at all.  Maybe I'm wrong and he'll show me more at the combine, in terms of speed and quickness, but my eye test says he's granny gear slow while pulling.  I think there are other guys that fit us even better.  Beyond that, I think he goes higher than a late 20's early 30's pick.

@AllBS I think you're pretty spot on...he'd probably have to slice another 25lbs off that frame to fit with all the movement we do...but man, he'd be a helluva RT and I think nimble enough to handle speed...

I know the temptation is strong to keep building that line. It's understandable after the pain we've been through the last several years. But OT is a pick that probably wouldn't contribute his first season. Unless you moved Remmers inside to RG, leaving Isadora and Easton to fight it out for the LG spot. Possible I guess. But the more I think about it, the more I think the obvious pick is 3T. With both Stephen and TJ likely gone after this season, Floyd's career likely over, and Robison's career winding down, that's a 4-person hit to the engine of our team.
