Yes, the Eagles are good. But how good?
They’re a league-best 10-1 with a nine-game winning streak. But they’re 1-1 against teams that have a winning record heading into Week 13. Their signature victory is a 28-23 win at Carolina, which has lost two of five home games.
The other top six teams in the NFC and their records against teams with a winning record are: Vikings (4-2), Panthers (4-2), Saints (3-3), Rams (2-2) and Falcons (2-3).
The good news is we won’t have to wait long for the Eagles to face some sterner tests. They’ll travel to Seattle on Sunday, stay on the West Coast for the week and play the Rams in Los Angeles the following week.
If the Eagles return home at 12-1, look out. They’ll be expected to become the seventh 15-1 team in NFL history as they finish up with games at the Giants and home against the Raiders and Cowboys.

Like I said in an earlier thread, the NFC playoff seeding could change significantly in the next 5 weeks. This weekend's NFL action might be the best of the whole year. And the NFC playoffs are going to be big-boy football at its finest. Very cool.

Its just really fun as a Viking's fan to be in the middle of this. Playoff football is just a blast when your team is involved.

Next two weeks are huge for Vikings too...I will take .500, want 2/0 of course. 0/2 not very palatable, but depends on how the games go down, how competitive we were.

I'm not predicting it... but I could see the Eagles lose in Seattle... and then just fall off the map (like the Vikings did a year ago).  I think that it's nearly impossible to NOT have a feeling of invincibility if you're the Eagles.  But if/when that feeling is pierced... those who are not as "battle-tested" (or mentally tough) can easily fall to pieces.

Interesting possibility. Strange as it may seem, if they end up 12-4 (losses to Seahawks, Rams, and Cowboys are possible) the Eagles will be considered a disappointment and a team "stumbling into the playoffs".

They got handled, no doubt about it. They have another tough one on the road against the Rams, I'm interested to see how they respond. 

If New Orleans wins against Atlanta this Thursday night, its going to be almost impossible to dislodge the top 6 teams in the NFC currently in whatever form the seeding may end up being.
