OT: Sometimes life is a cold, hard, b*^&%...
#1
2 funerals today, can't make it up:

On the in-laws side burying a 66 year old non-functioning alcoholic (a blessing)
On our side, 34 year old still tbd why someone so young died this week.

One Christian service, the other Jewish before sun-down.

Vikings football is a nice diversion today.

Hug someone you love, life is fleeting....

the 34 year old was so good... that God wanted him/her with him immediately.   sometime I think we are stuck here until we prove our worthiness to enter heaven,  your lost loved one was just quicker to earn their place with the angels.

Wow.  34.  Sorry to hear that PF.  May God watch over your family in this time.

Had an inlaw have a stroke at around 34 or so yesterday.  She has recovered fully, but sheesh that is scary. So yes, hug those close to you.

I am so sorry to hear.  Blessings come for some, but others, you just have to accept that it is their time.

Sorry to hear, PF.  I just finished writing my mom's eulogy.  Funeral is on Monday, so I have a few days to practice so I'm not a sobbing mess during the reading.

It's still so raw, but I know I'll get better.

Thanks All...Days like these remind me to embrace and recognize the small graces we get everyday. The sunrises and sunsets have been nothing short of magical the last few weeks.

Tim, my condolences - hang in there and be strong Monday.
