Yes, I understand Keenum didn't really pay the first half against Chi.
Which is why I left the CHI game out of my list. the only two games that Case started that you could say they started out slow (even though they scored on the opening drives) was the Detroit game and the Baltimore game.

Why leave out Pittsburgh?

Look, this would not even be a consideration if the coaching staff didn't know that Teddy was the better QB. They don't want to put him in because he has a nice smile or that he's a really nice guy who goes to kids' birthday parties. This is a debate right now between a QB who's on a roll and a better QB. And that's a legit debate. It's not an easy decision.

I think it's one that will EVENTUALLY be decided on the side of the better QB, but WHEN? Aye, there's the rub...
That pretty much sums it up.
Only currently Keenum is the better QB.
Sez who?  If that was true, I highly doubt Zimmer would be entertaining the idea of a switch.  There is only one reason to make a switch at this point in the season.  Well 2, but 1 would be the QB is sucking and season is lost.  The only reason that fits for us is that one QB is significantly better and gives the team a better chance at making a run.
Significantly  Wink
I thought Case's current QBR rating was #3 in the NFL what is Teddy rated at?
You tell me.  Stats can be tortured to tell any tale.  Tell me that Case doesn't make several WTF plays every game.

Pittsburg and Cleveland?

1st Quarter scoring points per game:
2017 - 2.6 (27th)
2015 - 4.6 (13th)

Points per game:
2017 - 24.1
2015 - 22.8

The reason we are having the debate, inconsistency.  Pittsburgh, Detroit, half of Cleveland and Washington.  Case hasn't been very consistent.  That is likely why coaches are considering doing the improbable and switching out a winning QB.

Is NFL stats not legit? Or did you just decide to ignore them because you don't like seeing them?
He is winning...And you think all QB's are prefect?

Your only looking at the bad...which as a fan is sad!

Sorry but Detroit was team effort...
Cleveland and Washington we won those games. What your beef?

Nope.  Stats are Stats.  Obviously Zimmer sees something, enough to create this drama.  So you tell me, are your stats a better representation of reality that an NFL head coach?

And why all the straw men?  Weak arguments need straw men.  I don't look at only the bad.  Just seeing what I see.  Detroit was an offensive disaster.  The defense held them to 14 points with the offense handing them the ball on our side of the field.  And we still had a chance but couldn't put the ball in the endzone at the end.

As to winning ugly, that is pretty much the beef everyone throws at Teddy.  He didn't perform up to their expectations.  Yet we won.  So why aren't we allowed to talk about 2 bad halves of football?

Straw men?

Detroit was penalties and fumbles.

So it is ok if Teddy wins ugly but is not ok for Keenum. And we're now dissecting games into quarters for Keenum....

Well he play 3 good quarters but he had one bad quarter. Instead of he had a good game we won.

Do you know what a straw man is?

That was your straw man.  And I just used the winning ugly argument saying it was legit to question a QB even though he won!
Sheesh.  I don't mind a good debate, but it has to be good.
