How many times did Josh Norman get burned by Diggs and Theilen?

and now you are comparing a 2nd year player with a seasoned vet... okay.

as far as the 1500 yard runner and norv for a coach... that isnt helping your argument at all.

and WTF is Sam doing in this conversation?
Quit using excuses  Smile
You whine because Teddy's passing problems was the line and Norv.
Sam got brought up because....He had the same coach as Teddy far less to work with. And he made the passing game look good.

I am not whining... I am stating fact.

as far as Sam having far less to work with?  an emerging Theilen, and Diggs, were without a doubt better than Wallace, and Charles Johnson.   Diggs came on later but got injured right away.  and you cant say that they were in the same offense... Norv backed off the 7 step drops and running on the early downs with Sam (not that it helped much as Sam got the shit kicked out of him anyway, but the offense became much much more QB friendly with Sam)

Now your making excuses that Teddy didn't have the receivers Sam did.
When will it end.  :p

Wallace, Wright, and Rudy. Only reason Diggs got a late start was they had Diggs on the bench. He also had Theilen
Not bad receivers.

They got rid of the 7 step drop to save Sams life.

Teddy had 1500 yard runner, a fair line. and Norv for a coach.
Sam had no running back a weaker OL and Norv. And he made all kinds of throws and made the passing game look good. Under tougher conditions.

Pretty sure Shurmur called most the plays with Sam.

Wallace and Wright.  Not bad?  Ha!  Wallace sucks and could only run deep. Were has Wallace excelled since leaving Big Ben in Pittsburgh?  Thielen was a practice squad special teamer that year. If you think that was a good group of WRs... no sense debating anything else.

I thought it was Norv in the booth until he left??  No??
But even after Norv left it was Norv's offense, Shurmur did change some plays to suit him.
This season you are seeing Shurmur's play calling.

Shurmurs fingers definitely were in the scheme and play calling last year with Sam,  but yes some of Norvs influences were still there all season as there wasnt time to install a new offense until the offseason.

Wright is not a bad WR, No mention of Rudy was Diggs not good?
How do you think Keenum would be hitting Wallace? He would!!!
Keenum has Diggs and Thielen top 10 WR's

You don't want to debate me, that's your choice...

Rudy being a TE, I left him of the WR group.

Wright isn't bad.  But Wallace, Johnson, Wright?  That isn't even an average group of WRs.  Diggs came in and flashed for a couple of games and then was hurt or struggled against press coverage.

And your last part could be turned around.  Diggs and Thielen have Case at #3 QBR.

Instead of throwing out stats, give it the visual test.  What do you see out of Diggs and Thielen.  Consistency.  Catch pretty much everything, run great routes, speed, making difficult catches look routine.  Every week.

What do you see out of Case?  Some great plays followed by some really bad plays.  Dropping dimes and then missing the broad side of the barn.  Luckily most of those bad throws have not hurt us.  Credit Jimmy's lucky horseshoe for that.

The year after Wallace left the Vikings he had 1017 receiving yards.
You said he wasn't even and average receiver.... Wink
