Vikings might be getting the offensive line back together
#1
Rashod Hill says he’ll be more prepared to play left tackle on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals than he was in last week’s 31-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, N.C.
The Vikings are hoping it won’t matter.
Coach Mike Zimmer said Wednesday he hopes to have his entire starting line back for Sunday’s game at U.S. Bank Stadium. If he does, it would be the first time since a 20-17 victory at Chicago on Oct. 9.
“I feel pretty good,” Zimmer said. “I think we’re going to get all of them back this week.”
That includes right tackle Mike Remmers, who has missed five straight games because of a concussion, and later a back issue, and rookie center Pat Elflein, who last week missed his first game as an NFL player because of a shoulder injury.

Elflein, for a rookie playing the center position of all things has been the most notable and stabilizing factor on the offensive line.  Great draft pick for a 3rd rounder.

Elf on the shelf was not kind to us...He's been performing at a high level...even if Cook had stayed healthy, Pat would have pushed him for our best rookie...

I still think its 50-50 about Reiff starting....it could very well be Hill. But at least Remmers is back to his old starting spot, so only down 1 guy potentially.

Don't push Reiff if we dont have to. And dont have to is getting the center and rt back.

"Right tackle Mike Remmers and center Pat Elflein are expected to return to the starting line up in Week 15. Neither were listed on the final injury report and were full participants in practice on Friday."
"Vikings final injury report lists Kyle Rudolph (ankle) and Riley Reiff (ankle) as DOUBTFUL for Sunday. Mackensie Alexander (ribs) is OUT. Emmanuel Lamur (foot) is QUESTIONABLE."

The good news is that Remmers and Elflein will be playing Sunday...  the bad...  Reiff and Rudolph look like they'll both miss the game.
