How many times did Josh Norman get burned by Diggs and Theilen?

Norman did not look like any type of shut down corner he looked lost against our attack.

AT and Diggs are excellent route runners.  That first deep one by Diggs was a beautiful route, set up Norman and then gone.

The long pass to Thielen -- when Keenum rolled to his left and Thielen went long -- was also on Norman.
as long as that sucker hung in the air... ( it looked like a punt return set up)  I have to wonder if that wasnt a zone being played that time.  shit a defensive lineman should have been able to run down field and get under that rainbow for all the time that ball took to come down... i was yelling at AT to call for a fair catch....

That's one of the scary things about Keenum - some of his passes are in the air for far too long.  When he goes deep it's usually not too bad because he seems to throw the ball to truly empty space and lets a receiver run to it.  But his passes to the flat are just terrifying.

Pretty incredible stat that I just read and posted in another thread.

The bottom line: Keenum had a perfect 158.3 passer rating when throwing Norman’s way.

Diggs and Thielen alone made 6 first down (or TD) catches against Norman.

what scares me is its not the same issue each time.  on some of the air balls its just a moment of bad form (throwing off his back foot (( see Jay Cutler,  or rewatch games in 2015 when Teddy was getting smacked around)  this is not uncommon for a player getting hurried or hit a lot,  but doesnt fit Case... he just seems to fail to follow through with his lower body.  But sometimes he winds up and heaves it but its a moon shot,  his trajectory is way high which is OK if the receiver is really wide open,  but against better coverages he wont get that much space and then it invites defender to either make a play on the ball or to light up our receivers.

These are a couple of the reasons I would set him down in favor of seeing what growth Teddy has made in his game.  I am not saying Teddy wont have issues of his own or that he will definitely be better... I am just of the notion that with all the hype from the players there has to be something positive going on in those practices.

I think if Teddy shits the bed... ala Sam in the bears game.. Case has proven to be able to save games off the bench,  but the thought of not knowing if we could have something better waiting in the wings and we end up losing out on home field or at least a first round bye.... well that is a bit of a bother for me.

Keenum right now is a better QB than Teddy.
The last year Teddy played he left a lot of TD's in games,  by not seeing the reciever or refusing to make a long throw. He had a lot of sacks because he stood back there with his thumb up his ass doing pump fakes.
14 touchdowns is pitiful when other QB's had 30 TD's

Keenum is the least sacked QB in the Leauge and there is a reason for that.

Yes the very good O-line.  Yes Case scrambles well and keeps his eyes downfield.  But to willfully ignore that this o-line is so much better than what Teddy and Bradford dealt with is silly.

Teddy had 1500 yard runner, a fair line. and Norv for a coach.
Sam had no running back a weaker OL and Norv. And he made all kinds of throws and made the passing game look good. Under tougher conditions.

and now you are comparing a 2nd year player with a seasoned vet... okay.

as far as the 1500 yard runner and norv for a coach... that isnt helping your argument at all.

and WTF is Sam doing in this conversation?
