CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Vikings will stick with Case Keenum at quarterback for Week 11.
Drama killer... Wink

Jason La CanforaVerified account @JasonLaCanforaVikings will be sticking with Case Keenum as their starter this week I'm told. Highly productive. Clicking w/ receivers. Great fit in scheme

People are also forgetting that Case has never had a season like he's having this year.  Before that, Bradford had arguably his best game on the season opener.

Maybe, just maybe, this offense for the Vikes is just a very QB friendly offense, and Teddy will thrive in it too.
I beginning to think that as well...  I mean Bradford had a career year statistically last season despite a terrible offensive line.  Now the line is fixed and Keenum is playing the best football he's EVER played in his career...  it DOES make you wonder how Teddy would look with these weapons and offensive line.  It's certainly not a stretch to think that he could play much better (statistically) than he has in the past with a completely different offense and personnel.
Teddy basically ran for his life the two seasons he started.  Rookie QBs usually need more time in the pocket anyway, and Teddy didn't have that luxury very often.

I agree, with this OLine, WRs, and playcalling, Teddy will be surrounded with a different level of talent than before.

Have no clue what Zimmer is going to do but I think I'd like to see them stick with Case.  He's having a hell of a run and this team hot, why change things up now?

Not surprised...They may have gone Bridgewater now if there wasn't 2 games in 10 days and Case has some nice stats in the interim

Theilen worked with Case all summer long developed a friendship and that "intuitive" knowledge that comes after reps.  Don't know if I'd like to 1. Mess with what is working, 2. Test Teddys mobility against Aaron Donald, 3. Pull Keenum from playing against his former team.

Most "outside" of Vikings fans think it's stupid to start Teddy.  I've got guys (who know I'm a Vikes fan) saying..
"Theyre not REALLY gonna put Bridgewater in for Keenum are they?"

I just shrug my shoulders and tell them I have no idea.

Benching Keenum would take a lot of guts. But it makes sense. Everyone is in this to make Super Bowls. Teddy has the higher upside.

I HATE THIS THOUGHT PROCESS!!!!

teddy, on the actual field, at his peak, is Case right now.... throw in a 18 month layoff and a horrible injury, how is his upside higher than Teddy? Teddy's an awesome kid, and worked his ass off to get back. but the way people talk about him, you'd think he's Joe Montana sitting on the bench.

so an hour after the coach says he will tell everybody wednesday.... he decided to let lacanfora in on his plans?  the way Zim likes to hold his cards close to his chest he just spills the beans 2 days early?  count me as skeptical....not that he is going to start Case... that he would let it out so soon.
