Zimmer says he knows who the starting QB will be. Won’t say publicly before he speaks to everyone else.

Mike Zimmer said he has not spoken to the team yet about who will be the starting QB vs. Rams. He’ll wait until Wednesday.

No more than a smoke screen for the Rams.  Case will probably start.

case played really well, but tried to give it up. If he plans to switch to teddy just do it.

This team likes BOTH of these guys (Teddy and Case). Pretty interesting deal. Not a bad spot to be in, quite honestly. I mean they are 7-2 with pretty good offensive numbers. For me, yesterday's win on the road was huge for me and some buy-in with this team.

Based just on historical precedent for coachspeak, this sounds like it’s Teddy Time

If the starter keeps his job, coaches usually say it Monday. If there’s a change coming, they say I need to talk to the team and announce later. Don’t need to speak to everyone for status quo

Benching Keenum would take a lot of guts. But it makes sense. Everyone is in this to make Super Bowls. Teddy has the higher upside.

I dont get this “potential locker room division”. these guys love Case but they also love Teddy. Probably more, both offense and defense. He is a leader on this team and outside of the recent FA acquistions, most are publicly excited to have him back.

crying, puking, anger, thats what the team
went through when their leader went down a potential leg amputating injury. WTF did the Packer players do when Rodgers went down?  Not even a cheap shot back in retailiation.

This is Teddy’s team and everyone knows it, including Case.

Did I read a quote somewhere from Case saying that Teddy was going replace him at some point this year,  or am I mis-remembering?
