Rashod Hill looks like a viable starting candidate at RT in 2018
#1
6'6", 315 lbs and only 25 years old. Those long arms and big body is ideally what you'd like at OT. Needs to improve in the run game. Remmers has played much better than I ever thought, I recognize that. Not trying to displace him this year. But the more reps that Hill gets, the better he plays. His upside is bigger than Remmers. Would love to see him push for the starting spot next season. Still working on things, but he's got very good potential. Needs to bump up the physicality.

Keep him focused on RT (He practiced at LT all week in London) and watch him flourish.

Shurmur has done a great job of putting these guys in a position to succeed...I really think that's the key...hopefully his HC stint in Cleveland has soured him to taking another crack at it...

Yes, he does. Add in Isadora and Aviante Collins and the Vikings look to have some young, quality depth for the first time in years. With Remmers contract in mind, I'd hold off on handing Hill the starting job, but it sure is nice knowing he's there. He's signed through next season. At that point we'll have to decide between the two.

Rashod Hill was a hell of a find. In my best, most exaggerated dream I didn't think we'd have a line like this a year after probably the worst line we'd ever had in decades. I just hope we keep drafting linemen for depth as well.

Hill held the position down well yesterday!!

I thought he played pretty well at LT, too.  Do we need to keep him at only one spot?  Only if we intend on making him a long-term starter.  Then again, with Remmer's age... maybe the spot will be Hill's next year.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Remmers kicked inside to RG next year if Berger retires,  but Hills L/R flexibility is great if nothing else.  the kid is earning a nice pay raise in his future.

I kind of like that idea of moving Remmers to RG.  Hill, Remmers, Elflein, Easton and Reiff.  Not a bad line-up.

They better keep Hill at RT, don't want to mess with the OL chemistry while the team is winning.  :p

I am betting that Isidora will be in the starting 5 by next year.  or maybe Sirles... B)
