How Many Sacks is the over/under Griffen V. Clemmings?
#1
  • From PFF
  • T.J. Clemmings vs. Edge Everson Griffen – With All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams set to miss another game as he recovers from a knee injury, the stage is set for T.J. Clemmings to make his third consecutive start. Clemmings has been far from perfect in pass-protection so far and has allowed two sacks, two hits and four hurries on the 79 pass-blocking snaps he’s played in the last two weeks, resulting in a pass-blocking efficiency of 91.8 that ranks 32nd of 37 offensive tackles with at least 50 snaps during that span. Entering the contest, Clemmings will have considerable experience squaring up against Everson Griffen, so hopefully he can use that to his advantage. Any prior experience against Griffen can be helpful, as the eighth-year pass-rusher is playing at an extremely high level this year. Through nine weeks, Griffen has produced 35 pressures from 273 pass-rush snaps, and his nine sacks from the right side of the line lead the league’s 4-3 defensive ends.

I'm gonna go 2.5, though I'm sure they'll give Clemmings help.

Expect the Redskins to give Clemmings TE help on Griffen. Clemmings is fundamentally unsound. And no way that Washington has solved that im since Clemmings was cut at the end of training camp

I dont care who is playing LT,  as hot as Griff has been this year in getting after the QB I would be expecting help for the LT on any pass play that is looking to pass more than 5 yards downfield.

I’m pretty sure their All-Pro, Williams, is playing this week...

NFLN reports all 5 of the Redskins regular starting OL will be out there today....no free pass for Griff.

Going to be a very tough road game for Minnesota. Not feeling the most confident. But time for Minnesota to start solidifying themselves as a contender in the NFC for the 2nd half of the year and a win in this game will prove that.

Case hasnt looked very good against average to good defenses this year... luckily for us the Skins D is below average,  but they have played better competition that we have to it should be a good matchup.  I think this is really going to come down to us getting a lead early and then being able to establish a running attack.  Murray could be the X factor in this game IMO.

Their O is pass heavy and our D is good/great against the pass so that should be a push.
