Get prepared for a let down...
A letdown of what? They are just going to make him active. Nobody is expecting him to start against Washington....and depending on how that goes, maybe not even Los Angeles. I think its just cool he made it all the way back. I'm curious as to if they put Bradford on IR (almost positive that's a yes).

Ohh there are people who think he should start.

Him making it this far is a great story no doubt and I'm glad, but I still have a doubt he will actually be activated.
Of course he's going to be activated today. If somebody thinks he's starting Sunday, they are deluded and silly.

Minimum 4-6 week recovery, likely IR.
More than just a bone bruise.
Not just a simple clean up.

Wow, that's too bad for Sam.  He had so much potential coming out of college, and the Vikes thought he'd be our guy for years to come after he played so well last season.  I'm sure the Vikes are wishing him the best, but I'm also thinking they're damn glad they didn't sign him to a long term deal.

Personally, I think he should just retire with the millions he's earned.  He's a young man, and should be glad he can even walk normally.

I feel for Sam as well. I think he was finally with the right team. He certainly looked nearly unstoppable against the Saints. I can only imagine how disappointed he's been these past several weeks.
As for Teddy, I think once he's activated it's going to be very hard for not only him but the team to hold him off the field. I know they are treating the situation carefully but the anticipation is huge for everyone involved. We've been very fortunate to have Case this season. It hasn't always been pretty, but we're in a pretty good spot and our line will be much improved from what Teddy has had to play with for his entire career to this point.

I have my doubts.   nothing I have read has suggest so.   Today is the deadline for a decision to be made, "everyone" thinks he will be activated.  My doubts derive from the horrific injury he sustained and the low percentage of chance of him playing again, couple that with seeing the Bears player with the same injury.

i am just wondering where you got the percentage from?  i know there are people that use crazy language to describe his injury,  but it really was just a knee injury with multiple torn ligs.  once they got past the initial part where he could have lost his leg,  its not that much scarier than other knee injuries.

Knee dislocations are typically fairly uncommon but can happen as a result of low-velocity trauma in cases like Miller’s. Vascular damage as a result of a knee dislocation also is uncommon — and damage to popliteal arteries even more uncommon, with one case report noting that injuries to these arteries are reported in 35-45 percent of dislocations with vascular damage.
Miller’s injury was a subset, within a subset, within a subset. That is why the severity of the injury is so much worse than what people typically associate with a dislocation.

Teddy had no nerve or arterial damage in his knee. He did have structural damage; however, as bad as his injury was (and we all know it was bad), it wasn't as bad as what happened to Zach Miller.

Sam Bradford - QB - Vikings
Vikings placed QB Sam Bradford on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.
It clears a spot for Teddy Bridgewater (knee) to be activated from the PUP list on Wednesday. Case Keenum will remain the Vikings' starter Week 10 against the Redskins, and Kyle Sloter will likely be his backup while Bridgewater continues to work his way back. For Bradford, he heads into free agency coming off another serious knee issue, this one a bone bruise that never healed and required a scope on Tuesday. Bradford turned 30 today and made it through just one game this season. The Vikings will have an interesting decision to make after the year.
