Malik Jefferson - LB - Longhorns
Texas junior LB Malik Jefferson was named the Big 12's co-Defensive Player of the Year.
Jefferson (6'3/240) shares the honor with Oklahoma DE/LB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. The junior posted 110 tackles (10.0 for loss), four sacks and a quintet of quarterback hurries over the course of the regular season. He's expected to declare for the draft in the coming weeks and looks to be part of the first-round conversation when we hit the thick of the evaluating process during the spring.
