And yet Jarius Wright still outperformed him....

You same dudes that defended Kalil, etc. will keep hanging on until the Vikings cut or release Treadwell. When your argument is that Keenum is at fault because he's not throwing to a completely covered WR, then its just goofiness.
Treadwell is a second year WR.  Yes I defended Kalil for far too long, but often I was just pointing out that he was trusted enough to go one on one.  I also pointed out his flaws.

But with Treadwell, some people are already calling him a bust?  At year 2?  Thankfully we have a real GM and not a bunch of internet wannabes.

nope,  I gave up on Kalil after his third year,  which is what I usually will give any player.

again,  having a single defender behind him or having the defender walled away from the ball is not covered.  completely covered would be if the defender was infront or at least on the inside of him,  Treadwell is getting proper body position on these routes.

Treadwell had 3 catches and Wright had 3 catches.  The #1 WR, Thielen, had a total of 5 catches for 41 yards.  Actually, Treadwell averaged 9 yards per catch compared to AT's 8 yards per, so he's getting first downs.

Wright had impressive grabs, but it's not like he "blew up" the stat sheet.  I didn't see any drops by LT, and I thought he actually played well.
ANY DROPS? He gave up an interception. He fucked up his hand placement and literally allowed his right arm to be trapped by the Defenders arm and popped the ball up for an INT!  The 1st damn throw by CK! That's about 1000 times worse than a drop. Do you even watch the games?

I guess perception is in the eye of the beholder.  I saw pass interference that wasn't called (like many others did).  I think if Keenum didn't under throw that ball, it wouldn't've been picked, and if Treadwell was able to get both hand up there, he probably would've caught it anyway.

Does anyone want to comment on the fact that Case stared down Theilin multiple times yesterday instead of going through his progressions and absolutely threw into a double covered Adam on multiple occassions?

It really looks like unless the play is specifically designed by Shurmer to go to Laquon or Case gets flushed out of the pocket and can only see him that Treadwell simply isn't going to get a look.

hes been doing that all along,  he tends to decide where the ball is going pre snap and really locks into that player or part of the field.

yea and that is why most of us know that he is a backup and we are going to have to get Sam and/or Teddy back for a playoff push.  I have been watching and hoping that Case would be showing improvement at progression and reads and he really hasn't but just like,on another thread about Treadwell, guys can improve with repetition and playing time.  I am hoping Case, late in the season, is making second and third reads with accuracy but it isn't happening too often right now.

I am hopeful as well, Case is in the first year with this offense, first year with these guys.  So there may be some chance he progresses, but likely is that he is who he is, a good backup.

5-2, top of the division. They jettisoned Boone. That shows that no one is married to the players they invested heavily into. Telling me the coaching staff wants Treadwell here. Good enough for me.

I've been as hard on Treadwell as anyone. But at this point I want to see him with another qb. Teddy or Sam.

Being at the game it's even more obvious Case rarely even looks for him anymore and I think he should.

Laquon could have had more catches yesterday if Case gave him more of a chance. I don't get it to be honest.
You don't look for guys that aren't open. This isn't a QB issue, its a Treadwell issue.
I agree
