NJVike you haven't held back your opinion after losses though. And don't let me tell you to not participate. You have your thoughts on the team. It's valid to speak them, but people are going to respond in kind.
Actually, my sporadic posts have been equally distributed throughout the season, but, whatever.

Not sure why you're telling me that people will respond in kind....I no longer comment about the numerous d-bags that insult me in posts that I am not participating in at the time, such as this one. My initial comments are always directed at the Vikings performance and the front office (you know, the DECISION MAKERS). Its never about a particular poster or group of posters.....until THEY make it  personal.

I've accepted the fact that this board  is a clique that wants to pretend the Vikings are the greatest franchise in sports, despite glaring facts showing otherwise, and its easy to gang up on someone who critiques a regime that is sub .500 for 12 seasons and has 1 playoff win during that span. Could not care less about anyone's opinion of me or my thoughts on the Vikings front office.

As I said, great win today, hope they keep it going. But I will reserve my final commentary on the 2017 season until the Vikings 2017 season is completed.

Not sure why the "SHOW ME" approach irritates fans on this board soooooo much. I would think that the incredible streak of mediocrity would be more upsetting, but to each his own.

But, hey, don't let me interfere with the prognostications of a home Super Bowl victory. Have at it.....Lord knows Viking fans have had little to cheer about the past decade. I just prefer to celebrate ACTUAL playoff success, not the "woulda, shoulda, coulda" variety that has been bandied about here ad nauseum.

Wishing all a good night.

Peace.

I never saw this offensive line coming. Crazy good.
Berger is still a weak link.  we are getting no consistent push on that side and he isnt anchoring in pass pro very well either. I think that they need to look at Isidora in short yardage situations at a minimum to try and get some more out of that right side.  I hate to mess with the OL,  but Joe is at the end of the road and its really showing.

its hard to be critical after a win... especially after a win over the hated fuckers from sconnie,  but I am kind of disappointed in how the offense looked in the win.  Their defense was absolute shit and we really failed most of the game to put them away.  The morale on that sideline was in the shitter all day, but they were actually in the game until the end as our offense crawled into a hole everytime we got a 2 score lead.   This should have been a  laugher and instead it was a game to the end.  I know that Case would likely win governor of Minny if an election was held tomorrow,  but he really isnt doing much good out there.  his passes are erratic at best,  has no consistent touch on the ball,  weak arm,  and it appears that everytime he saw 7 or more in the box he was checking to run.  ( unless they were calling nothing but runs to chew the clock in which case lets beat up shurmur a bit as well)

I dont like playing not to lose,  that is like a prevent defense,  it will fail you when you need it the most.  lets see some convincing wins when the opportunity presents itself.  lets put some fear in opposing defenses.  for shit sake, i want to see some swagger from the offensive side of the ball.

if Teddy gets good news tomorrow,  and assuming Sam is not coming back real soon,  I think we have to look at getting Teddy ready for week 10 coming out of the bye week.  we have a tough second half of the season and unless Case can find whatever game he had against Tampa and repeat it often,  there is no way he is going to take this team anywhere and we cant always rely on the other teams defense to be in a mash unit and the opposing offense not to put up any fight.

(lets hear the boos...)
All great points. I agree with you that Case was erratic and inconsistent today. The turnovers were huge since we were already in scoring position and both of them led to 10 points for the Packers. Our first down runs for a loss up the middle, especially with Murray, really put this offense on it's heels. We will need to do better. After Rodgers was knocked out of the game, there was a letdown on both sides of the ball and we did seem to adopt the "play not to lose" mentality. Despite the "Thin Skinned" Zimmer supporters on this site, it's perfectly acceptable to have some constructive criticism. When the Vikings watch film tomorrow, that's exactly what they will do to themselves as they work on getting better and correcting mistakes.

It seems like he is slow to the hole/indecisive after the handoff.  Not sure if he is still unsure of his ankle or the offense or afraid of getting hit.  He's not running physical and he runs more upright than any RB I've ever seen in the NFL.  Hopefully he gets some kind of rhythm/confidence to play quicker.  I didn't expect a scat back style but he doesn't look like a NFL back right now IMO.

Lol...you're a trip NJ...but hold fast to the notion that our GM operates in a vacuum and unilaterally calls all the shots...

What the record shows is the team has much better depth this year than past years.   I even read that Isidora got some playing time - didn't realize that.

Losing Barr after the first half hurts too.

I missed that as well,  would like to know when he was in as I was a little distacted later in the game yesterday.  Only makes sense also to give him some live reps when the opportunity is there,  takes miles off Berger for a stretch run.  Same should go for Hill and Collins,  get them a few here and there as well.

Good to know...maybe he had his cloak of invisibility on when he went in...I do like the idea of getting these younger guys some reps...Berger is at the end of the line...get Isadora in there for  some reps or possibly goal line situations...

Wish we knew why - was someone banged up so he had to go in?  Or did the coaches think he needed some exposure or did they think he was better in a certain situation?

Did he replace Berger or Sirles?

I don't think people are giving enough credit to GB's DL. Granted their D as a whole isn't top notch, its got some good pieces none the less. I'd take Kenny Clark in a heart-beat to pair with Linval.

Bergers struggles are more than just one game.

It's a testament to the turn around at line when it's been said that Berger was our best OL last year and now he's arguably our weakest link.
