Zimmer just said at his presser that this report isn't true, take that for what its worth.

That's good to hear, but I'm not sure I trust much of what Zimmer says, especially about injuries.

He has a bone bruise. They heal slowly and are painful. But they heal. If Keenum can keep the team in contention for 3 or 4 more weeks, Sam could be back, for a playoff run. He's the most accurate passer the Vikings have had in a while, and though his career could be in question, it won't be from a bone bruise. Yes, he will likely need a knee replacement in his 50's, but not now.
I fully expect Bradford back. If that happens, the Vikings have a chance to be the first team to play a home game in the superbowl.
Waynes, Alexander, and the offensive line are all playing better, and despite the loss of Dalvin Cook, Shurmur is calling some great offensive plays for the players he has.
If Bradford can't recover, there is a possibility Teddy will be back.
The glass appears to be more than half full to me!

Grabbing a QB in the first 3 rounds would be a wise move. Both Bradford and Teddy are good QBs, but their injuries make it hard to know what to expect going forward. Teddy does have youth on his side, but we need to see where he is first before we start thinking beyond this season. Keenum has introduced an interesting wrinkle into things and could be a decent midterm option if they draft a QB early, but I'm not sure what it would cost to keep him. It's a weird position to be in, but regardless of who they decide to keep going forward, they would be wise to spend an early pick on an insurance QB.

I heard the kid on KFAN...Damn smart, articulate, seemed like a lot of common sense for someone so young. If he's got the ceiling they say, the arm and accuracy?

He could be a strong contender for the Vikings down the road.

I have a feeling the Redskins have started-up the Brinks Truck, getting ready to back it up at The Cousins' residence.
