Which QB should start against Green Bay?
#1
I'm tired of the expert hindsight. Lets talk about next week.

Who's starting at QB? Who is taking reps each day up to gameday, and who gets the nod?

Bradford if he practices all week? Bradford on limited reps taking care of the knee? Keenum, if Bradford is limited? ... ignore Bradford while he recovers some more and roll with Keenum?

A lot of experts on how it should have been handled last week; crickets on how it should be handled this week...

I think Bradford would vote Case on this poll.  Can Sam even walk without limping?

It depends on how Sam feels.  I do love how Case can fire the ball around the field however.
Maybe they could each play a half.  We've done that before and won    .Smile Smile

I voted Case because I just don't see any possible way that Bradford is healthy after how he looked Monday night, especially considering he re-injured his knee.

Some sites say he re-aggravated the injury. Some sites say MRI's came back negative. Some sites say "no new injury, just wear and tear."

It seems we are in the same boat we've been in since the end of Week 1. Maybe it'll get better. Maybe it won't. If tomorrow (Thursday), per say, Bradford says it feels "a lot better," is it deja vu?

It's Keenum. Sam needs 100% confidence in his knee AND all the reps to get his rhythm back. Doubt either, let alone both happen.

But a fully healthy and sharp Bradford would make the Vikings the favorite on Sunday.

With Case the Defense will need to either turn Hail Mary boy and his peeps over a few times or force some 3 & outs to give Keenum some short fields to work with. Special Teams getting some yardage would also be big.

Sams using an unloader to get around.
Stands to reason he's a no go

It was one thing to roll the dice with Bradford and the Bears playing against your Elite Defense and starting a Rookie QB to see how his knee would hold up. It's another thing to think you can get away with that against Aaron Rodgers and a Packers offense that is playing well with an improved running game in Aaron Jones. Case give us the best chance to put up enough points needed to win if everything goes well. Bradford on a short week is not a bet I'm willing to make if I'm Zimmer.

It's a shame Sammy isn't at full speed. Gotta give Case the call.  He's looked better than most anticipated and he gives us the best chance to win.

I said in chat during the game on Monday that I'm all for Sammy Sleeves starting ONLY IF he gets the full week of practice in, otherwise start Case.  As soon as Bradford is healthy enough to practice all week, he's the better choice.
