Vikings Top 30 Visits
#1
Hard to find a comprehensive list anywhere, but this is a good start. VIR is virtual meeting, PRO is pro day visit, WOR is a private workout. What can be surmised from this? The Vikings will take a RB. ILB is a real consideration starting in round 2. The Vikings are looking at mostly middle round WRs. Why would they meet with Pregnon, who is a round 1-2 guard? I think to ask about Thieneman and Sadiq.

Demond Claiborne, Running Back, Wake Forest (T30)
Jonah Coleman, RB, Wash (T30)
Emmett Johnson, RB, NE (T30)
Jacobian Guilory, Defensive Tackle, LSU (PRO)
Gracen Halton, Defensive Tackle, Oklahoma (PRO)
Anthony Hill Jr., Linebacker, Texas (T30)
Erick Hunter, Linebacker, Morgan State (PRO)
Ted Hurst, Wide Receiver, Georgia State (T30)
Khalil Jacobs, Inside Linebacker, Missouri (VIR)
Chris Johnson, Cornerback, San Diego State (WOR)
Tristan Leigh^, Offensive Tackle, Clemson (WOR, T30)
Lance Mason, Tight End, Wisconsin (T30)
Jake Pope, Offensive Tackle, Illinois State (PRO)
Emmanuel Pregnon, Offensive Guard, Oregon (PRO)
Mason Reiger, Defensive End, Wisconsin (T30)
Treydan Stukes, Cornerback, Arizona (PRO)
Jeff Golday, ILB, Cinc (T30)

Interesting thing about Treydan Stukes...he's that kind of hybrid between a cornerback and safety. The kind of player Coach Flores likes.

I also think Mason Reiger is a perfect replacement for AVG and would be a great grab later in the draft.

I still think Anthony Hill is going to be a stud. One of my very early draft crushes. 4.51 at almost 240 pounds with a 37" vertical. I know inside linebacker really isn't considered a 1st round position anymore, but I'd have zero issue if they took him at #18 and I'd certainly take him over any safety not named Downs. Glad to see us bringing him in for a visit

He's definitely an athletic freak, but the Vikings have him listed in the 3rd round on their big board, so it'll be interesting to see if he will be around for our 3rd round pick.  Also, the Vikings are high on several C's with 3rd round grades.  So if Hill is sitting there and the Vikings haven't taken Jacob Rodriguez, do you think they go after Hill in the third or Lew, Hecht, Slaughter, Jones?

3rd round!? There's no way. Jeremiah has him 32nd and he is almost universally thought of as a top 40 prospect. I mean, I've thought this anyway, but if the Vikings have a 3rd round grade on him, every scout in the building should be fired

Don't shoot the messenger, just preparing you for what's to come as I know you've been high on Hill and didn't want it to be a surprise.   Big Grin

Rang has him as LB5 with a 2nd-3rd round grade in The Beast which was just released yesterday.

McGinn has him as LB9, but he lists both Ohio State guys as LBs, 3-4 round range.
