Interesting observation about Kyler Murray
#11
I think we can all agree Murray is the kind of quarterback you are going to have to scheme and be put in positions to make plays. Does anybody see him being successful in the KOC offense that was rammed down the throat of every quarterback who took a snap for us last season? There's no fucking way. If you are going to ask Murray to throw the ball 35 times a game from the pocket, with a minimal running game, and an offensive line that routinely can't escape the injury bug, you are asking for disaster IMO. I would love to hear from "the whisperer" on just how he is going to put Murray in situations to be successful when the only ones to ever be successful in his scheme are the traditional, big, pocket passers who can stand in and deliver on the deep shots or chunk routes with accuracy that are the staple of the OConnell offense.

This is either going to be really good, or really bad, in which case OConnell is sent packing at the end of the season and I'll shed no tears over it. I've never seen a guy who's never won shit be given so much power over an organization.

I'm not a fan of Murray's downfield throws.  They are lobs, hospital balls, and ripe for picks.  He has the mobility for sure and is a little waterbug.

I'm still rooting for McCarthy to beat him out.
