I was glad he did it in a game against Peterson. I don't hate the guy or anything, but I think he burned some bridges with the Vikings talking about being disrespected and then how he wanted to stick it to them.

Dalvin Cook - RB - Vikings

Dalvin Cook rushed 22 times for 127 yards in the Vikings' Week 1 win over the Saints.

He added three catches for 10 yards on five targets. The two missed connections were drops by Cook. His night got off to a sluggish start, failing to gain anything on his first three runs and dropping a pass in between, but the new Vikings' offensive line started creating holes and Cook nearly busted some massive gains. His longest tote of the night was a 33-yarder in the fourth quarter to seal the 10-point win. Cook played 51-of-65 snaps on offense, with Jerick McKinnon getting in on 11 and Latavius Murray seeing three plays. Cook has a stranglehold on workhorse duties but gets a tough draw on the road at Pittsburgh in Week 2.

Cook played a very nice game; in pass protection too. He's a tough guy, and I really liked he broke AD's rookie record.  A rookie AD would've scored on that last long run though.  B)

Looks like the Vikes got a really good one in Cook.  He clearly deserves to be the #1 RB.

Erased MTF.

Welcome to some new Leadership - on offense - Sam, Cook, Theilan and Diggs!!

Defense - steady and then garbage time for Bree's but still played within.  Need to do the same vs Rodgers.

Cook was very effective last night as well as very versatile. It was fun to see him get into with the fans. He was encouraging the fans to cheer. I loved watching him pick up the blitz and help Sam as well as his running plays.
