That was objectively the worst Super Bowl game in like 30 years

I didn't like the game because Seattle won.  Can't stand them.  But as to a game, the defense was fun to watch.  Maye was pretty bad for most of the game, but NE's D was good.  Gonzalez was crazy good.

I enjoyed it from a defensive struggle.  Seattle stuck with the run game and that made the difference.  They kept grinding until the TE broke free because NE was focused on stopping the run.

I was flipping back and forth between the olympics,  it was tough to compete with the superbowl, but the replay of the curling mixed doubles preliminary round match against estonia was to much to ignore completely for the 2nd time in one day, also the mens singles luge competition ( where we never really have a chance)
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

With no Chiefs in there and two coastal teams instead, plus a halftime performance that caters to a worldwide audience and not a Midwest one (where I'm at), hype for the game was pretty low. The widely expected Seattle win wasn't exactly gripping to watch series to series.

I'm fine with no Midwest teams in the SB. That had not even occurred to me. The defenses were really good. Sam did enough without trying to do too much and turning it over.

I thought the halftime show with Bad Bunny was entertaining. I think Kid Rock was doing the alternate / MAGA halftime which I assume was televised but I did not care to check.

Hopefully now - or whenever we are done re-living the game - we can get to the real off-season activities. Of course, we will have to hear about how the Vikings would have won the SB if we had kept Darnold. But that should die down within the next 10 to 20 years.

It showed a different way to win. I am so glad the Patriots didn't win.

I thought NE's D kept them in it far longer than they should have been.

Once Sea could get pressure with just 4 DL? Game over

Maye looked every bit a 2nd year player and his OL did him no favors starting two rookies on one side.

This one was over b4 it started imo.

The bolded key to winning championships.
