Tomlin stepping down
#1
Details to follow.....

A lot of losses in the playoffs.  Has to take a toll on you at some point.  No QB to rely on going forward.

word is he has a lucrative tv deal waiting for him, probably as good or better money and none of the grief.

and that makes 8, whoever had 25% the coaches out after the season is sitting pretty good right now.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Ben Roethlisberger is what made the gig REALLY good for Mike Tomlin....there's nothing like that heading into next season. I'm sure its a grind and maybe he can revisit next year or the year after to return to coaching. Or not.

Its the Rooneys still in charge? I would think he would be a legit candidate if that were the case.

Apparently, Mike Pettine just announced his retirement, opening up the Asst. Head Coach title for you know who.

Has it really been 20 years since "PLAY LIKE YOUR HAIR IS ON FIRE" was the Tomlin defensive battle cry in Minnesota?

Makes sense.

He’s kind of in a no mans land right now, where people are bored with the situation, he’s too good to get a quality QB and no one will have the patience to go through that process with him.

Take a year off or get a media job, jump back in when the time is right if he wants to.
