you feel like a weight has been lifted off your fan shoulders as the season end nears.

Thats how I'm feeling about 25, relieved its almost over

Hate seasons like that.

Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow - and we aint getting any younger. Be nice if it all fell into place in 2026

I remember saying back in the fall that the late-season Vikings should be much better than the early-season Vikings. That was definitely the case on defense, but unfortunately injuries to McCarthy prevented the kind of continuity he needed to develop.

It is a bummer to basically have had the last month have absolutely no meaning and to not look forward to the games. What makes it an even more discouraging is that next year at this point looks like it will be more of the same until the Wilfs finally admit some of the mistakes they have made and get some real personnel people to run the team. Most likely another year of watching the team have a disaster draft and pretty much handle every personnel decision like George Costanza before he finally realized to do the opposite of his instincts. Perhaps the biggest disappointment is still having our QB position in question, JJM does not look like the sure thing we were hoping for him to be and beyond his play is his inability to stay on the field. It is an off season of hoping he turns around as opposed to knowing what we have. Perhaps the most important off season move will be finding another QB who can come in and win games in case he does not take a huge step forward.
