Nobody cares about draft position because nobody trusts Kwesi to make a smart pick anyways. We all love what we saw today but does that erase the fact we are 4-4 still and came off an ugly, ugly loss to the Chargers? So which team are? Like we've all said for weeks, have to let the season play out to know for sure
I'd say...we're a team that is breaking in a new, young QB that had an injury, and that our o-line has been riddled as well. We had some good effort from our veteran backup QB, but had plenty of other issues including some odd playcalling by the coaches, etc.
All that said...we're 2-0 in the division, both road wins. We won in Detroit for the first time in half of a decade, and our QB1 looked worlds more consistent than he did to start the season.
Everyone wanted a young QB, a dual-threat QB, someone to use the very loaded larder we have, but got very prickly over the very bumpy ride involved.
I shudder to think how they'd do with a few seasons of Burrow.
It's been rough, but we were never more than one win from .500, even with all the issues. In the meantime, our division is cannibalizing itself rabidly and we could be leading within a month. As rough as our schedule is, which game looks rougher than the Lions at home?
Just sayin'...yeah, it's been a rough ride, but the determined doom and gloom accomplishes nothing. Sports is entertainment, and fandom basically is synonymous with drama.
OK, KOC, time for that miracle....

What coach doesn't do this?
Outside of maaayybe Andy Reid who got ran out of Philly and could retire at any time, who are you swapping KO with that would be a huge upgrade? I think he's one of the best football coaches in the world and we're lucky to have him.

There isn't one. There's a big difference between criticizing coaching decisions, which many of us do, but still realizing he's one of the best in the business ...and criticizing coaching decisions and thinking he should be fired. I mean that shit is so stupid and tiresome.

HOW WE FEELING ON VICTORY MONDAY GANG!
Awesome win. I know the Cowboys and Commanders defenses aren't good and neither team played particularly well against us, but man. Going from not being able to get a first down, having 8 false starts in a home game, to all the bad BAD offense we watched... to seeing darn right competence and execution on offense. Big time plays, 3rd down conversions, smart football. Wow. And people were worried KO lost the locker room! I watched a team that's playing hard and having fun last night. Let's see what we can do against NYG! 3-1 vs the NFCE wouldn't be too shabby.

Interesting to see what happens when a talented team with one very big problem suddenly has that one very big problem start to play better.
And let's not do this whole Cowboys suck thing. Just like the Washington game, the people who thought we couldn’t beat Dallas because they were too good are the same people who will dismiss the win because Dallas is bad.
This was still the best offense in the NFL, playing at home, in prime time, in a game they had to win. Vikings defense did not allow a single TD pass. This was the Vikings 5th straight game without allowing a single TD pass. Not to Prescott, not to Daniels, not to Darnold, not to Love, not to Williams.

Which is nothing short of amazing TBH...And I dont have a lot of love for that D backfield either, maybe I should lol!
Beating the Cowboys in their home? On prime time? With their playoff lives on the line? Hell, it doesnt get better than that in a year that feels like a kick in the nadz...

I thought Dallas would easily win. It's good to be wrong sometimes! This was the Vikings team I expected to see at the beginning of the season. Decent O-line and QB play combined with very good defensive play, against a team who had to win, and rarely loses at home, shows their potential and helps restore hope for the future.
Wins cure a lot of ills. JJ has a ways to go but appears to be on the right track. Loved that touch pass to Nailer!

Yeah, the haters had rested their laurels on the 'Washington sucks but Dallas will shut JJ down'. The typical crickets from them are always hilarious, lol.
