He kind of disappeared during the Commanders game though.  He had 3 straight games with a sack prior.

He may have suffered that brutal setback: opposing OCs noticing him, and getting better/more blocking in his vicinity.
OK, KOC, time for that miracle....

Or we could commend him for playing well during one of the tough stretches for the team given all the beating he has been getting here.

Getting sacks in 3 out of his last 4 games isn't bad. Jared Verse has zero sacks in 5 of his last 6 games. It was the same thing with Danielle Hunter. If he didn't get a sack in a game, he "disappeared."

Geez this board is jumpy lately.  I didn't say that sacks in 3 of 4 games was bad.  I noted it in my response.  I also said he disappeared last week.  Both are accurate.  I thought it was a fairly balanced response but evidently people believe that we can only acknowledge the good things.

He's played better this year but he still doesn't draw a lot of attention from the Oline which has given him opportunity for sacks with his speed.  When the opposing lines have to start chipping him or double teaming hime...than you know we have something.

Danielle is having a good sack year, I think he got 1/2 of those against the Jags lol!

Dallas is at 5.5 sacks now and I hope he finishes in that 7-9 range year 2.

That would be a good improvement vs rookie year and give me encouragement he can get to that 10+ yr 3 (knock wood)

Sorry, it's just that "disappeared" was the same word used to describe Hunter, which was nonsense. If DH disappeared it was because he was made to via the game plan. It happens. Commanders protected the edges well in this one,  as well they should with All Pro Tunsel on one side and prize rookie Connerly on the other. None of the Vikings edge rushers had a sack, pressure or QB hit. All of the pressure came from the middle with Redmond, Allen and an A-gap blitz from Wilson.
