Commanders @ Vikings
#1
Don't put money on it, but I think if Jayden Daniels doesn't play, the Vikings take this one. The scoreboard doesn't really show it, but the Vikings defense hasn't been bad at all. With the exception of turnovers (dead last in turnover differential), the Vikings defense ranks high in most categories. On the other side of the ball, the Commanders rank 27th in run defense and 31st in pass defense. And since week 9, they rank dead last in pressure rate. If McCarthy is going to show flashes of what we expect him to be, it will be in this game.

Like the old fable "If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?"

If the game is held in Minnesota is it really a game if the offense doesn't show up?

I agree, this week is their best shot at a win the rest of the year..So much will depend on #9 and whether he can elevate to even near avg play.

Id like to see a win for the players, see some hope at QB.

BUT --- there is also a piece of me that would like to leap ahead of the Commodes in draft rank.

IF there ever was a season to think about the draft order? That would be when you're sitting at 4/8.

You'd think with the heat KOC has taken for his outright refusal to run the football with struggling quarterbacks, and the Skins struggles against the run, you'd want to get 30+ carries out of the collective of running backs. Unfortunately that has NEVER been KOC's style. We'll see if the "dumbing down the offense" is real or just lip service.

I think we are in trouble if we are once again without Darrisaw/Jackson and Von Miller gets after McCarthy. Dan Quinn is absolutely going to try heating things up with different blitzes. As bad as I think Marriota is, he has shown he is capable of completing passes which one up's him on McCarthy.

This game is as important as a preseason game. No one cares.

I don't think that's true.  I think people care a lot.  Getting smoked by a bad team is going to make the offseason a living hell for this fanbase.  Getting a positive win in this game and hopefully another gives the fanbase hope that not all is lost.

Nonsense. Sure, nobody cares if we win or lose, but how certain players perform is actually very important.

I will always watch the games despite the record, but there is not a lot to be excited about for this week. With last weeks loss we have no shot of the playoffs and on top of that it is pretty uninspired football team with players who look like they have quit and an organization that appears to be in complete disarray. The most interesting aspect of the game will be JJ, hopefully we see some type of improvement from him in this game.

Probably unpopular opinion but I would prefer L's the rest of the way. Kewsi needs to go. KOC has to learn to run the ball.

Same boat. If it takes losses for the Wilfs to fix their mistakes, then yeah I'm all in on losing out. Don't even care about draft position because it doesn't matter if it's still Kwesi/Grigson making those picks
