Now we can see why Minnesota and KOC wanted Maye
#1
What a year he's having. Looks smooth and accurate. Big athletic kid. New England was smart not to part with him for the 3 number one picks Minnesota offered. Had some bad moments last year, but damn he's on track to be a top 10 QB in the NFL. I had bagged on him early in the year but that was oh so wrong, lol.

Patriots look like they lucked out with another franchise QB, he just keeps improving every game and last night you can just see the level of confidence he is playing with. Bummer we could not have somehow moved up to have gotten him. After our disaster Sunday it was especially painful to watch Nix and Maye in the two night games.

Long way to go, but at this point would be an interesting redraft of the 2024 QB, I would go Maye, Daniels, Nix, Williams in order for top 4.

We might need to draft a top QB in 26 or 27. I’d like to try and trade for Mac Jones. But if we can’t work that out then I’d like to roll with McCarthy next year as well and really shit the bed for arch Manning.

Well, we could stick with what works: find another "draft bust" QB that's been cast aside by another team, and knock off another 12+ win season...

...or, maybe, we get rewarded for taking our lumps this year. Every time I think I know what's coming in '25, the sharp turn appears.
OK, KOC, time for that miracle....

Don't worry...competitive rebuild to the rescue when we sign Jameis Winston to be our starter (err competition) next year

We could find some team with a coach that see's value in JJM.   Like, say, Jim Harbaugh and let KAM work a deal for said "draft bust" QB, Trey Lance.

I have lost all goodwill with this organization, I have always felt they were my team, but I can't fight the negativity any longer.  It's like the organization is using the team as marketing ploy  building value in some real-estate scheme.  I have more fun with family FFL than following this team.

Now they're just re-hashing old shit in new ways...We know the kid sucks his first 5-6 games.

I guess if fans want to keep spinning in despair they can have at it.

I'm going to vent, but still hold out some hope.

To each their own (shrug)

We keep comparing a guy who's completed like 6 games with guys who've completed like 28.  Every QB looks like ass their first 6,8,10 games.  We just have to hope that he looks more like the guy that convinced the team to not pursue a veteran QB seriously once he's past these first handful of games where he's getting up to speed.
