Go get 'em, Max

To say Max's performance was better than JJ's is something I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on, lol. 4 brutal INTs and the worst pick 6 I've seen in recent memory. For a guy that is supposed to be 'super smart', he sure as hell didn't play like it.

Yeah, Brosmer said hold my beer. Not sure what I witnessed, but it wasn't a talented QB. JJs bad times really overshadow the money throws he has made. You could really see the talent gap between the two.

Max threw a higher % of catchable passes IMO that JJ has been showing over the last month or so.  A lot of the crys of receivers dropping passes from JJ were really poorly thrown balls with way to much zip on them to really be catchable,  yes there were plenty of WTF efforts by the receivers, but I thought Max showed more touch,  and better ball location on most of his passes yesterday, with the exception of a couple that got away from him.  just the passes to the RBs and Hock were much much better than we've seen from JJM.

The pick 6 was inexcusable,  the pick off Jet should have been a PI IMO, but the ball was well placed.  look like the DB had Jets arm pinned before the ball got there, and I am not recalling the specifics on the other 2 right now,  was thinking at least one of them wasnt Maxs fault, but cant recall for sure, was kind of checked out and was also kind of focusing on the blocking up front with the patchwork line.

I am not making excuses for Brosmer,  but when comparing the 2, remember 1 has been given every opportunity with the 1s that is possible,  the  other wasnt even discussed as a potential pro QB until 3 months ago and hasnt gotten shit for work with the starting receivers.

Its JJMs job as Max didnt steal the opportunity,  but I saw better reason for hope from the passes that Max threw than what we've been seeing from JJ the last few starts for him.

Its all good, I just don't agree.

This season has been something else......good grief.

The coach calling that 4th and one pass didn't do Max or the team any favors.  Why not take the points, or run it?  Keep the momentum instead of flushing the game down the shitter.

No, make your green, UDFA QB try some low percentage play there...stupid.   Check the stats below, this coach literally has his head up his ass :

the over commitment to the run game the last couple games has been a head scratcher.  I agree we needed to balance it more,  but the first down run calls,  nearly every first down is dumb and completely predictable.  one time yesterday they had 9 in the box and we ran into that.  its like the coach has given up as well.

Yeah. Other teams have vet QBs who in theory are better at audibling out of bad looks like that. The Vikings don't and coaches can only do so much from the sideline, especially on the road in Seattle.

we have often questioned whether KOC gives that autonomy to young QBs in the past.
